Millers Falls #38 hand drill

Jack Guzman from Maine

>Hi, I just bought a pretty nice #38 drill made by Millers Falls. My question is about the handle. It looks like it should have a threaded cap on the end for holding bits. There is a groove but it doesn't unthread using a fair amount of force.I don't want to force it so can anyone tell me--does this model have a reservoir for bits or is the groove purely decorative?According to one source, the handle is hollow but it doesn't mention if the hollow is accessable. Thanks---Jack

Nevermind

>I couldn't stand it so I gave the handle one last "tweak".The handle does indeed have a removable cap and this one was full. It has a full set of bits and they're all sharp!I had shaken the drill looking for a rattle but it was so full the bits couldn't move.---Jack---Sorry about the waste of webspace.

>Hey, guys, that was one of the most elegant drive-by gloats I've seen in quite a while, and Jack set you up and drove it right past you! It was totally within the rules, and your whistle-blowing has no legal standing.
