>I raise panels on the tablesaw and clean up with scrapers and sandpaper. The results are not bad but it would be nice to get a crisper finish, especially where the edges meet at 45 deg.

I would appreciate hearing how others do this.

>I raise panels on a shaper, and clean up with a random orbit sander. (Sacrilege!) A good block plane like the LN #140 would do a lovely job on those panel edges.
