Ohio Tool Collectors Meeting

Jim Crammond in Monroe, Mi.

>In a past thread I had mentioned that there is normally a February meeting of the Ohio Tool Collectors in Pickerington, Ohio and I promised to post the details when I received the information.

The meeting notice just arrived in the mail so here are the particulars. The meeting will be held February 27th at Pickerington Jr. High School in Pickerington, Ohio. The school is located just off Rt. 256 in Pickerington. Take Rt. 256 south from Exit 112 on I-70 for about 4 1/2 miles, where Rt 256 takes a 90 degree left at an intersection, proceed straight and the school is about 500 yards on the left.

The meetings usually have about 30 or 40 people set up selling tools and 100 people attending. There is a $10.00 admission charge to help buy coffee, donuts and pay for the building. There are normally many user tools availble at a reasonable price.

I hope to see a few new faces from Wood Central there.

Jim, planning on being..........

Cooper Suter

>....unemployed this summer?

Internet posts during business hours, lazy afternoons at the antique mall.

I see a pattern developing.

Isn't this just the sort of behavior that got you in trouble last time?

Can you please keep this job at least until I'm done w/the backhoe?

:)

Coop.

I shouldn't dignify that with a response

>Coop,

You didn't say if you were going or not. Hopefully you won't wimp out like Grand Rapids with some lame excuse, "I have a forty hour a week job, so I'm much too busy"

>Jay,

It starts at 8 A.M. and there is usually a brief meeting around 10 after which people start to slowly pack up. By noon there aren't many people left, so I would recommend getting there around 8.

I don't think you have to be a member, you can get in as a guest, although I think you still have to pay the $10.00 fee. Tell the person at the registration desk that you are my guest and he will point me out to you.

>If the registrar doesn't believe you really are his guest, and wants you to point Jim out to him, just look for the guy on the left in this photo.

He was playing hooky in Virginia on that occasion, as well.

Cooper Suter

>In case your still not sure you'd be able to pick him out in a crowd, a full body "action" shot of Jim.

This is how most people who know jim envision him, especially at tool meets.

Jim when not "playing hooky"

>The Ohio Tool Collectors is a pretty friendly group that seeks new members. They even let a guy like Cooper Suter participate when he pays his dues.

I'll look forward to meeting you, will you have Nemo or Mr. Tools on your name tag?

>Phillip,

I don't remember what the yearly dues are, $15.00 I think, and they will allow you to join at the meeting.

Look forward to seeing you.
