This Ain't a Real Winter *PICS*
William Duffield, on the Cohansey
>On the Cohansey, we only got eight inches of snow, and it's forecast to only go down to eight degrees Farenheit tonight, and I had us dug out by midafternoon.
Here, Chief of Security is watching out for ice bears while I shovel.

The Loxahatchee Toolworks Frogpond is not faring so well, but at least the pump is keeping a small space (lower left corner) clear enough to provide water for the birds and oxygen for the fish and frogs. The Pondbird copper fountain/sculpture froze and burst it's pipes and will need some repairs, come Spring, so I disconnected it.

Today, the sun came out, putting a little color back into the landscape. The pitcher pump fountain froze up, too. Blowing and drifting snow forecast for tonight, so I may be digging again before I go to work tomorrow.

So far, the garden lantern is holding its own against the glaciation. I suspect it's all due to global warming.
I guess I should be glad I'm not in Maine or Lake Wobegon, but somehow, I count my blessings that I'm not living in Florida anymore. Eat your heart out, Todd O.
