>Was bidding on a 13-050 combination plane. (Stop booing!!!) After reviewing a number of posts here, thought it would be a good starter combo plane.

Found one on the bay, complete with all 18 cutters. Thought I had a nice find. Dropped out of the bidding. Finally went for almost $200.00.

I thought that was the going rate for a good 55. This is a semi-modern Stanley Combo, normally disparaged on the boards. You can find a new PC tailed router for about the same. What gives??
