which tool to make next?

>I use handtools all the time but have made little more than jigs and fixtures (in the way of tooling) as projects. Until now. I had some dry osage orange and was itching to make something out of it. I haven't got a motor on the lathe yet and I already own a round carvers mallet, so it seemed like time to make the joiner's mallet.
Sorry, no picture, but I liked the result so much (vivid yellow head on a hickory handle), I made more of them. Eight total in fact. ;-)
Maybe it is time to find another hand tool to make. Mostly wood please, metalworking gets old faster. A wooden plane does not seem needed jsut now, any other ideas?
