Also it's a 7/8" witch is a rare size of these animals, that puts a premium price on this one too.

Seven Stanley Everlast chisels, 1/4" to 1" Metal cap, wood handle as shown on the ebay site, sweetheart logo on six of the chisels and deeply incised Stanley on the blade. Various patent numbers of 08 and 09 on the chisel. The 7/8" chisel is 1/4" longer than the others but has exact same handle and shaft but no sweetheart logo and the Stanley is etched on the chisel not incised. All are used but cared for and have no chips, dings (except on the metal cap tops), some aged surface rust but the backs are flattened and still sharp, etc. They were as a set in a old denim cloth wrap, but it was dryrotted beyond repair and literally fell apart in my hands when I found them. I sorta knew what I had, bought them and like them because the fatter wooden handle fits well in my hand, are shorter than most other chisels, and can be used with better control for hand work. Sorry no picture but look to be similar in condition to the 2" ebay chisel shown in this thread. Anyone care to venture a ballpark price range out there? I'd like a value. Should I stop using these?

I have a complete set of 40's/50's. I'll never get rid of them because they are my favorite chisels.

It's a misfit collection but I love them all.

If it was me, I'd use them, their nice chisels.

Such a dilemma

>So, I've got one, a 1-1/8" as I recall, but, from what Todd Hughes has told me, probably by the company that made Everlasts before Stanley bought them out. It's one of three 1-1/8" chisels, so it's not like I'd be suffering from the loss of it...but I HATE selling tools, especially when I hear people like Scott saying they're his favorites.

Such a problem.
