LN 60 1/2R with Nickers

>I am starting a new thread on this one and want to know if anybody has sent or ordered this plane with nickers?
I bet with a rare earth magnet fence one could use this plane as a Rebate plane like the Record 778 or the Stanley 78. Anybody tried the Rare earth magnets as a fence and the nicker upgrade?

You could use their version of the 140, it comes with optional nickers and a fence too.

>As of 28 Oct 04, LN was offering the 60-1/2R with nickers. Call the orders department and they can hook you up. These are not a standard stock item, but they make up a run of them every once in a while.
You can also return your 60-1/2R to get the treatment.
