>So far here are the attendees for the Springfield breakfast:

Dave Anderson the impetus( I'm reaching here)for the meet with Roger Meyers riding shotgun. Dave promises to bring new goodies to covet.Locals,Joe Rogers(me) with friend Dave Shoultz to learn from the travelers. Also Skip from Falls Church has found some one to pump water so he may have a Sat. morning off. Bill Duffield will accompany his wife to the area and will get the morning to shmooze the other woodworkers.I thought I read that Jim Crammond is on the way to Williamsburg also and might make it. I hope to see you there Jim.

Paul Mosteller lives close by but has some conflicts. Just a maybe.

Doug Robinson from the main message board replied that he will attend.And Timothy Moore, a "closet Woodcentralian",state department employee back in the area to study Latvian for a posting to Riga has asked if he could attend.

So far that is 9 firm and maybe 10 for the gather.

Hope the Bob Evans has a big table!Travel safely guys and save room for the food.JR

>If it's any help, it's about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Falls Church to Williamsburg. I'm only about 15 minutes (in non-rush hour traffic) from where I live to Springfield. (No native Texan uses miles - distances are always measured in hours or increments thereof. :) )

>Ooops...looks like it's about 3 hours from Hampton,Va. I've been to Williamsburg before,( lost trying to find a "shortcut".). Didn't realize that Springfield was so close to D.C. I do have a cousin in D.C. studying the Indonesian language that I would like to visit before he's sent overseas.

>Sounds like someone is trying to rationalize a reason to show up. :) I thought Hampton was somewhere in the Williamsburg area. Four years of running the stepdaughter back and forth to W&M has ingrained the time from here to there in me.

>We'll miss you John. Whenever you get the urge to have a dinner just call for it. We should be able to beat up a group to eat with ya! Btw dont forget about the woodworking show out in Chantilly at the Expo center later this month. Maybe that will be the reason to grab a meal.
