>I'm going to try to make it this year.Only four hours from me. LOML has agreed to drive so we're going down on Saturday for the day and back home the same night.A couple questions.----

Is Woodcentral going to have some kind of presence there? If so where will I find it? Also are any of you going to be there?

This is a big deal for me.The only other woodworking event I've ever been to is Wood Days in Canterbury ,NH. I'd love to meet some of the people in person that I communicate with here.

Do stop by Jack

Christopher Schwarz

>Jack,

Bob Lang and I will be in our booth at the show. Do stop by to say hello. We don't have much bling bling to show, but we might have some trail mix to share.

Most Excellent Walt

Christopher Schwarz

>Walt,

I would really really like to test drive one of the planes you've refurbished. The new photos on your site with your fancy new digital camera are great, by the way -- you're going to put magazines out of business by publishing stuff like that.

I'm also lusting after early chisels these days, 18th century stuff with octagonal handles, no ferrules (thanks to Adam). If you've got any to show or sell, bring them along!

I'm greatly looking forward to meeting you, Jack and anyone else from WC who stops by.

>Like every year I'll be ice-fishing up in Maine. Springfield is an hour from my house and I can never make it to the show. I always have ice fishing that weekend.... Ohh well, the tradition continues and the CT Cod Squad will be pillaging Great Pond in Belgrade for Pike and Smelt.

Have fun at the show,

Gil

>Hi Chris,

I'll be there on Friday - gonna get there in the morning to attend the Frank Klausz seminar (mainly to get the chance to hear a master in person). I'll definitely stop by to say hello - you're a veritable woodworking celebrity to me. I've probably read, re-read, indexed, took notes, etc. on more articles you've written than any other single author.

A real reason to stop by the booth

Christopher Schwarz

>I just got my mitts on three unbound copies of the next Woodworking Magazine. The only ones on the planet.

If you'd like to see what will be hitting the streets in a couple weeks (and our recommendations on marking knives after six months of testing) stop by and I'll have a copy hiding under the bench so it doesn't grow legs...
