>I put the exact same holdfast into a bench about 6 months ago - just make sure that the shaft is perpendicular to the collar as you insert it.

If you need to remove the paint to get it to fit, do so, but I'd be more inclined to look for a casting dag that missed the operator's notice.

I have a few people that bought a Record Holdfast and the T Handle Bolt is Missing can someone please tell Me what the Bolt Length and Diameter is and Also what the Thread Pitch is and if it is Fine or Coarse Thread.I know there is a shoulder part on top and bottom so I need the over all Bolt Length then Broke up for Measurments for the Top Shoulder then the Thread length and Then the Bottom Shoulder length. and also the Bottom Shoulder Diameter.
