But they are all iron an weigh alot.

Shipping was probably between $5 and $10, so he probably just rounded it out.

That's what I usually do.

Though, usually I'll just give it away.

First, an apology. Early this morning (couldn't sleep) I forgot that this isn't Badger Pond and a lot of you folks don't know me like the crew on Badger Pond did. I should have introduced myself (at the very least) and probably should have included a smiley face ;^) somewhere in my post to suggest that it was a ruse to get Todd O. going.

I have sent the check -- mailman picked it up today -- and Todd CRONKHITE has sent the saw vise.

I have to say that I've know Todd for a number of years since Badger Pond and trust him. Sure he's a bit flakey but, who wouldn't be...living in Florida? ;^)

Thanks for putting up with my fun and thanks for your input. I'm going back to the power tool side now. If I have trouble operating the saw vise, maybe I'll be back to ask you for real advise.

Yes, I've know Al now for several years as he said, and last week he e-mailed me more or less to vent his frustration at not being able to find a swa vice. I told him that I'd keep my eyes open for one, but that I didn't see them much anymore, and if I found a decent one I'd sell it to him at cost, since he has done me a favor or two in the past. I then e-mail our chum Ernie who knows Al just as I do and told him of Al's plight. Well, Ernie finds one from a on-line seller for $25 and e-mails Al about it. Al e-mauls him back and said that Todd O. had found one for $15 and was going to send it. Wellllllllllllllllll, this info was all Ernie needed to play a trick on yours-truly, and he pulled it off in Aces!

got to admit that I might of over-reacted just a tad, but I feared that my in Al's eyes my Personal Integrity was in question, and it just drove be crazy to think that Al might be thinking badly of me. Ernie knows of this little quirk I have, and brothers and sisters he KNEW this was a prime opportunity to push that button!

Yeah Ernie, go ahead and bust your belly laughing you deserve it. I'd have to say that you've pulled a very hard to beat prank of the year and it's only 5 days old!
