>All you have to di is sharpen the blade. I would use it with out a burr on the blade wor awile to get used to it befor trying to roll a burr. This is a wonderfull p;ane to use. I would all ways try a plane out befor doing any flatting of or radical work on a plane. most times all they need is cleaned and sharpened. LN's are allways ready to go.

For Christmas, I didn't receive my LV scraping plane, but just a card with a picture on it.

Now how do I prepare this for scraping? Or should I just wait for January 12?

I had to make do with cutting pictures out of the catalog and hanging them on the tree. I strategically placed a few in the refridgerator; they are still there!
