Maybe, with luck, a little shop time, mostly on cleanup, since I've had a lot of Sunday evenings when I finished too late to put tools properly away. I would like to spend January 1 doing something in the shop, since it promises not to be too cold.

*Matt Curley, if you're reading this, I managed to avoid doing it during the rain, ha ha. I don't do EVERY outdoor project in the pouring rain, just half of them.

Slooooooow benches

For three months now ;) My fishing habits kinda got in the way for a while, but now I have no excuse. I think they will go together today, so all I'll have to do yet is make the frame that goes under the top and put breadboard ends on the tops. Should only take another couple months.

Spent this week geting the wires finally in place where they belong.

It will be nice to get rid of all the extension cords run all over the place.

There's a superstition that how you spend the first day of the new year determines how you'll spend the year. If that's so, I'll spend mine (a) cleaning up - took down the Xmas decorations, but for the porch lights, and recycled the tree, and (b) working wood - spent the afternoon on the repair of one of our kitchen drawers, got to use chisels and my No. 78 to clean off the old wood on the bottom of the sides so I could glue on new runners. Not high style woodworking, granted, but better than carpentry. Between the mahogany runners and the plastic laminate on which they'll run, this drawer should be greatly improved.
