>IS she related to my wife for years I have bought a present a month wrapped it up marked the foldes with a pen mark to see if it has been opened and left tem in the corner where the tree goes. ocasionaly if she is good or the need arrises she get one early. Playing fair isn't fair. I also like to save one present back untill just befor bed time on Christmas day just to make the day last with lots of excitment!

We hardly ever got Christmas presents when we were growing up. There were eight of us, and to buy us each something that cost a dollar would have been almost a days wage for my dad. (Now that I think about it, I'm sure I spend more than a days wage on Christmas presents) But we did have a large caring family, which is something you can't buy with money.

Just never lied it much, especially on "gift giving occasins such as anniversarys, birthdays, Christmas etc, etc. don't like to give 'em, nor get 'em. to me going out for the specific purpose to buy a gift ranks right up there with root canals. --Total agony. Nothing ever seems good enough to give. I better at spontanious gift giving. I find something that so and so would like I buy it and give it to them.

Got a package from a friend of mine about a year or so ago, and still haven't opened it. Will get to it one of these days. I know what it is, and yes, it's a tool, but am waiting for the right place to put it before opening it.

Had a buddy pick up a piece o' rust at a flea market for $2 as a gift for me and I was absolutly thrilled with that as it was a spontanous, "hey, I was thinking of you" kinda' thing.

Gift giving/getting occasions are pure agony for me.
