>This is the hand plane that I built. It is made up of 1/4 brass for the sides, and the bottom and infill are hard maple. It has a bed angle of 60 degrees. And an stanley cap iron and blade.

>If I understand correctly, you made it a bit like one makes a woodie as a lamination. Is the bottom constructed from the front and back infill pieces without adding anything? A fuller explanation would be very welcome as some comments on useability, too. It sure inspires.
