New edition of J. Walter's book

Mike G.

>Howdy fellow WWer's,

Does anyone know if or when the new edition has or will come out?

I borrowed the last edition from a friend, but quickly returned it when I found out that they were selling for more than $150.00. I'd like to buy one for myself, not someone else, lol, if you catch my drift.

Thanks,

Mike G.

>Don't hold your breath. You can buy the pocket guides pretty reasonable on ebay from what I have seen. I was very fortunate to have found one at an antique show in 2000 I think for the book price of $30, the last one they had left. I'm kicking myself now for not buying a hundred of 'em when they first came out. The last one I tracked on the bay was not in like new condition so it sold for only $120 or so.

>I thought there was a new edition. In fact, I could've sworn I saw a link for it a couple of months ago, but lost it.

Nope, I'm not paying 150 bucks plus for a used book, although I saw one on the bay for around 180 with dust jacket that looked in very good condition.

Thanks, Mike G.

>John Walter's web site: www.thetoolmerchant.com had a form on which you could ask to be notified when the new edition was coming out. Unfortunately, I just tried the link and it returned an error. I just Googled him and got lots of references to him, The Tool Merchant, etc, but nothing that indicates he has a new web address. Anybody pass throught Marietta Ohio lately and visit his shop?
