>did you get all relaxed up this weekend or did you make wispy shaving with that new plane that Ernie sent ya' all weekend? ;~)

Why don't you go lend Jorge a hand shovelling that snow?

>You know he is gimp and he needs to build up his strength to reforge that pile of chisels I sent him. I can tell you that the plane works pretty dang good. I almost didn't send it just the chisels. Mouth is tight fits the hand good. the copper added some needed weight. The sides of the blade need dubed over on the stone because the squair tube has round corners. and the blade can dig in. Ask him nice he might let you do a review.

>Yep,I`m relaxed.Having LOML at home and reasonably well went a long way toward getting that way both for her and me.She`ll be at home for at least the next 2 weeks so we`re just enjoying her unplanned vacation as much as possible.

I did take the new plane for a spin a time or two and am looking forward to really giving it a workout on something other than spruce kindling, although it works very well at that task.

As for the snow(and I know you miss it),here on this part of the coast it was just a matter of taking a broom to the walk to clear it,something I managed with not too much trouble.Jorge is alot further north so he may have got enough so it stuck around.Ours all melted off yesterday with the return of 40+ deg temps. We`ll be hip deep in it soon enough.

Did manage to scare the new neighbor though. She asked what that door way up on the side of the house was for(we haven`t got around to building the side deck so we can use the extra kitchen door yet.It is above the overhead door in the daylight basement).I told her that was our "Winter door",that way when the snow gets deep in mid winter we can still get out of the house to start shoveling. She got a real funny look on her and left before SWMBO could explain to her that the snow wasn`t the only thing that gets deep around our house.

>glad to hear that you and the Mrs. got to spend some quality, peaceful time together Bob. I think it does a soul good to just relax, but than I wouldn't know. I tend to run myself to exhaustion and only rest when I can't "go" no more. I'll be the death of me yet.

Glad you didn't get buried while you was trying to rest.

I think that ol' rascal Ernie sent you those tools just to torture you. I know he succeded too. what cha' gonna do for kindling now that you turned it all into shavings? ;~)

>Todd,

Maybe he makes a packet of shavings wrapped in newspaper like me and uses that as kindling ;>)

Matti Kuikka, thinking about firing up our ceramic stove tonight.

Isn't it great when you can do that?

The trick is...

>keeping a straight face for 30 seconds after you say it.
