That's OK, Jorge

>Maybe you should move further north, so you get snowed in more often, if this is what results. Very pretty.

>out of seeing the absolutely beautiful little turnings? Man, our lucky day that you boo-boo'd Jorge. These little boxes are just stunning. I enjoy turning little boxes as well, but have not yet verntured into such decrative ones as these.
I venture over to The round side once in a blue Moon, so I'd of missed these for sure.
What lathe did you use to turn these?
Are they to be Christmas gifs? the wonderful thing about little boxes(of any type)is that they make a gift unto themselfs. Put a little nic-nac in 'em, and it like giving two gifts in one. When I retired from the Navy I recieved a Fossil watch from my co-workers that came in a little wooden box. I tossed the watch and kept the box. Ugly damn watch, gads it was hideous I thought. Box was nice tho.
Haven't seen you around much where you been hiding?
At any rate, supurb little turnings, and for goodness sake share them with us more often.
Take it easy shovelling all that snow, don't wanna hear of you having a Heart Attack as so many people do while shovelling.

Anyway, half of turning is using hand tools.
Nice work!

>Hello Todd,
I cannot spend as much time at the computer as I used to, kids in college need lots of support, most of it financial.
You and Bill are making me blush, thanks for the kind words. The lathe is a delta midi and I will pace myself with that shovel, don't worry.
Take care

>Hello Jack,
It seems like in the last few winters we are getting the lion's share of the white stuff uh? that's ok, we never know what will happen next. About turnings, sharp tools, steady hand and a small bite do help a lots, keep trying! : )

>Helo Don,
It would be fun to bodger uh? that way it would be 'pure".
I use both hand and power tools, whatever does the job.
