>I bought 5 to give away to a couple friends for Christmas. Less than $20 for the 5 delivered. Can't beat that. I saw a post about the Ice Bear stones not being flat, but they looked ok just eyeballing them. I haven't put a straight edge on them yet. If they need flattening, I'll try SiC on my flattening plate.

>I get 2 as well, both needed to be flattened (both were convex)... Nothing a few minutes with the DMT plate didn't fix up.

Cheers!

>I checked all five that I bought. None were perfect. The side without the grooves was flatter than the side you are supposed to use. I flattened the grooved side of one with 90 grit SiC on a flattening plate. Didn't take too long.
