Help making a new wood handle for a Stanley 46
Matt Williams Marysville, WA
>I got a really cheap Stanley 46 and would like to make a replacement handle as the one on it is only 1/2 there. It looks easy enough except for the attaching part. It looks like the handle has been fastened from one side through some holes in the metal handle but I can only see the pin on one side.
I can have the pin go through both sides, glue it on or use scales like a knife but would like to know if someone has done this before and has a link to the different steps.
I haven't seen Bob Smalser do one yet unfortunately!
Thanks for the help!
