Replacing handle for a user i would just make them and replace pins, use a little epoxy to hold them in place.

>I have done this before. I busted the old handle off, ground off the pins, drilled new holes and repinned it all the way through. Or, maybe just epoxy would work as Dennis suggests. Good luck, David

>I have a 46 that has had the handles replaced. The new handle was fastened to the body of the plane with two flat-head, countersunk machine screws going all the way through, to resessed hex nuts. It seems to be sturdy.
