LV Marking gauges?

Ernie Miller Topeka

>I just got finished doing my christmas cards I included my LV wish list in with the cards and I have a question about the LV 3 in 1 gauge will the wheel cutter fit my LV wheel cutting gauge? I ask for the extra stim the the 3 in 1 and figured one would have the pin and the other would have the knife and I could use the wheel on my wheel gauge I got from Ponder clause several years ago when it get dull. or put it on my Goodall Pratt that will take the LV wheel gauge wheel as it is beyond sharpening again. The Goodall Pratt is a favorite as it is octagon and does not roll off the bench The 3 in 1 is eliptical and shouldn't also. So does any one have both of these gauges and are the wheels interchangable?

>Hi Ernie -

The Brass gauge uses the same single bevel wheel as our current wheel marking gauge. Hope that helps!

>Cool That is what I wanted to know. Has santa put in an order for me yet? I ended up putting my wish list in about a dozen cards when I mailed them out.

>peek feature on the Wish List. Look on your wish list page on the right side directly accross from the Wish List title (above the green line) is a command "View purchased items". The people at Lee Valley know how patient we are (does looking make us naughty or nice?) ;-) Eric

>It's one thing to ask but another to peek! My wife used to do that now I take a pen and mark all the folds on the packages so if she opens one I will know. I bought here a necklace one year and just hung it on the tree right in front about two weeks befor christmas she never saw it. On Christmas I ask do you want that last present See looked and said there are no more presents. On New Years day when we took the tree down and was putting the bulbs she found it and ask me if I was going to throw it out with the tree I told her no I would hang it back up next year if she hadn't found it.
