>Just as an update, I was getting a small gouge in the center of my cut. I posted and aske for help to solve this issue after checking the sole, blade etc. Alan had asked me many questions to help solve the mystery. When I went back to gatrher the data, I found that there was a small protrusion in the toe of the plane. One good lap and it was gone, and I'm back in business.
