Who made the Keen Kutter saw?

Charles McKinley

>Hi All,

I saw a Keen Kutter (Sears?) cross cut saw today. It has a higher TPI than my other cross cuts. It is in nice shape.

It is old enough that the blade is not inlet for the handle.

They were asking $5.00 for it.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chuck

>That saw of course is a piece of crap probably made by Craftsman and not worth a rotten wooden nickle, but I would really love to know where it's at.

>EC Simmons sold the Klean Kutter saws. They were a hardware distributor with a long list of their own company brands. They only manufactured a few tools and had other companies manufacture the bulk of their products. No telling who actually manufactured the saw in question, but they were usually good tools.
