Stanley 150 Mitre Boxes???

>Are these little boxes very accurate? I picked one up the other day and it was surprisingly sturdy. I am curious if they could be used to make accurate cuts or they just junk? Thanks

>I have a 150 that I haven't used yet either. I've been meaning to make a shooting board, and will probably do so sometime this winter. I think any cut you make with a miter box either electric or hand power could easily benifit from a shooting board. If you had a shooting board set up, I think the 150 would do a reasonably good job, but of course the 358 would be better I think. I like the way the 150 looks, and am hanging onto it for my grandkids to sell for more than a #1 plane.
