Hidden Screw driver
Todd Hughes
>Anybody see a Screw Driver here ? I sort of collect walking sticks,[guess I got close to a 100] and while I particuly like folk art ones i have an interest in mechanical ones too.The other day at my every other week antique shop I go to they had a really nice stick that was also a shotgun.I had to have it of course. From the outside you can't tell it is anything but a horn handle stick but by twisting the handle it opens up to load and a trigger button pops down. The sellers couldn't quite figure it out [though they unfornatly knew it was a gun] because it looked like the cane was solid so how could you shoot it?I knew better and after I bought it I pulled on the cane tip and out it came to reveal it was actually a screw driver that fits in the muzzle of the shotgun barrel! Interestingly there are no screws on the stick / gun that you could use it on either but I figured the makers thought might as well make the cap into something usefull like a screw driver rather then do nothing with it.Screw driver blade has two springs that look like the ones on screw drivers that hold the screws in place to start it but in this case it holds the screwdriver tight into the barrel....Pretty neato screw driver and thought you would like seeing it.....Todd
