Should I sell this saw for parts?
Roy from Cincy
>Hi. I need a little advice. I picked up a saw a couple of weekends ago at a garage sale. It's a Bishop from Cincinnati and says patented 1887 on the medalion. Since Bishop moved out of Cincy to Lawrenceville in 1890, that pretty much brackets the age of the saw. The blade is not bad, most of the etching is readable, the medalion is good, all the nuts are good, but the handle sucks (see pic). Does it make sense to sell the medalion and blade separately or is it better to sell the whole thing?
Any comments appreciated.
