The frog is strange looking, especially the lever. The bed is weird too, it is corrugated, does not say stanley, or anything else. As you can see the only parts that say stanley are the cap and the iron, wich is "V" logo. Is this an older stanley, with newer iron and cap?

>This is a put together plane with a Stanley blade and lever cap having been put on another plane. Believe this what is known popularly as a " Frankinplane". Body sort of looks like a Union with that type of laterial lever but the blade adjuster looks to be a cheaper looking one then unions used....Plane looks to be pretty well rusted up in any case ......Todd

>A lot of the US "off brands" (and Sargents) used the twisted lateral adjuster. Stanley did as well, such as on their Keen Kutter knock offs of the round top bedrocks. Doesn't look like a Stanley frog seat though.
