Infill question

Rolf Schmid

>I am working on a new infill plane, until now i secured the rear tote with a pin (screwed to the stell sides) and 4 screws through the steel sole.

I dont like the view of the screws in the sole (see plane body), so I intend to pin the rear tote with 2 Pins through the sides. Will the tote be secure in place any opinions?

regards

Rolf

>two pins from each side are pretty strong. though everyone told me I didn ot need screws in the sole of the plane. so I started using a strip of flexible epoxy to hold it in place.

>Should be fine. Some of the rear infills on older planes were held in with glue alone. Not my idea of secure as most, if not all, of these infills have loosened over the years and need regluing and/or pinning.

Two screws either side is fine.
