>Bring that coffee cup over here I have somthing for you. This has been the shortest 8 weeks of my life. after ten days it has arrived! it's no stanley but it is a #2 Today I think I could be a collector. Mouth is a little big and no way to close it up that I know of.

Have you found any markings on it to indicate the manufacturer?

How's it measure up to a Stanley #2?

>it says BRITISH MADE M & NO 2 on the lever cap. 8" long 2" wide with a 1 5/8" blade, A little rough not bad for my bottom feeding shop.

I see in the link that you had sent me that the seller had "neglected" to show a pic of that side. How convinient eh? Ahhhhhhhhhh well, no matter for the price eh? :~)

I've been known to pass on some stuff on der Bay because I felt it was too nice for my shop, and fiqure I'll let the collectors have it for preservation. Atleast I hope that's what happens. I fiqure anybody can love a mint old tool, but it takes somebody special to love a raggity one.
