There has to be a better way than cut'n'paste -

I know it's an ASCII character, just like the 1/2 and 1/4 ascii characters.

Could someone let me in on how to put them on the screen please?

>Nope, no forgery Dale. this is what I did(on my computer, dunno if it'll work on yours)

Click on Start->Programs, Accessories->Ststem Tools->Character Map.

In the Font box I clicked on Times New Roman, Click on desired symbol->Select, symbol goes into Characters to Copy Box->Copy, now close the CM screen, put your pointer where you want your character to be and left click your mouse->Right click mouse->Paste, and there you have it.

I just learned this yesterday from my computer book. I'm trying to at least keep up with Ernie. ;~) Hope this helps

I went to that link for the cent sign and immediately closed it,it hurt my brain to even think about reading it never mind going thru all the mechanations to make it work.

Type with 10 fingers? HA! Fat chance of that ever happin'! I sometimes use 3 that's pushing it. I still have to look at the keys when I type as well. I'm just one step above a hunter and pecker. If you blind folded me and sayed you pay me a million bucks if I found a particular key I'd lose. I can however find the keys pretty quick for the most part tho. thank goodness for the backspace and delete keys.

Yeah man, I'm going Global now it seems eh? I found a Slate sharpening stone that I think I can get cheap, but I've yet to check the conversion rate. British Sterling Pounds I thought was long, long, long gone, but that's what he said he wanted.

I also heard he has had to buy a much larger trailer to haul stuff in so he can keep up.Elmer from Elmer`s Barn is sending him text messages daily.
