How many Rob Lees are there?

>I just wanted to say a nice word or two about Rob Lee. I have recently had two separate deliveries (LA Jack and LA Smoother if you must know) from Lee Valley to my home in Perth, and Rob has monitored each at every step of the way, even contacting me after delivery. We have chatted a good bit about blades and options. The conversation has been friendly and warm.

I have this image of a Santa visiting all the children in the world. He must move pretty darn quickly, or there must be a whole lot of Santas to be there for each child. I'm not alone in singing Rob's praise. How does he find the time to do it?

I already exceeded my plane budget this year with a LV bull-nose plane and a LV low-angle jack plane (with an extra high-angle blade to boot). Don't you think that's enough?

Let me know how the LA smooth turns out. It's also on my list. I may as well blow the budget for next year ;-)

I wish the bull-nose plane was a bit thinner so I can use it for 3/4" dado. Oh well, that's why the medium shoulder plane is on the list too.

.... Father, lead us not into temptation (that's Rob Lee's job)....

Talking about Rob Lee -- I haven't got the 2004-2005 catalog yet. Anyone on the West Coast've received it? (Like it's not tempting enough....)
