Weekend Projects

Ernie Miller Topeka

>What a great week it has been here Lots of interesting threads some even found time to stand on the box and get talked back down. Gotta love it when we are all happy and passionate. I love it when a thread leaves the right side of my screen and dont come back for a while. This weekend is going to be a little different for me. I will be doing some work in the shop tomorrow but not a lot. I hope to get the doors glued up for the wifes thing. I hope to get a belt for the treadle lathe so I can get it up and running. I had some special parts mad by a local machinist so I can use it to turn pens also. Sunday I will be off early to go to my first pro football game going to BBQ some boneless beef ribs covered with some special salts and Sweet Baby Rays Good stuff before the game and then watch them beat the snot out of the Texans. I have a designated driver all lined up So I will Have A Safe and Rockin Good Weekend!! And hope You do to.

>Tree crew trimming around power poles didn't clean up there own mess? that just ain't right. They are suposed to clean there own mess it dosen't matter if there was a big storm or not. Send them a bill buy a new truck to haull it away with.

Sale?

ScottS

>Who's having the sale? I'm in the same general area as you (Mountain View, CA) and was thinking about picking up some wood for a couple of boxes I'm planning to make. If there are some decent deals to be had, I have a couple of Christmas projects in mind that I wouldn't mind buying for...
