NEW SHOP SHOTS *LINK*

>I've just uploaded our two newest Shop Shots. If there was a central theme to these two shots, I think it would have to be design. Both woodworkers encountered challenges that pushed their thinking and resulted in some very clever solutions, which influenced their designs. Both of these shots are fine examples of what can be when we have the courage to embark on the road less-traveled in our work.

Thanks to these talented woodworkers for the latest submissions:

Alan Young - Shot #632 - recently completed this audio and spirits cabinet for a customer, which features shop made hardware and wooden accents. The ebonized moldings help set off this unique design. Nice work, Alan!

Jim Shaver - Shot #633 - shares a secret birthday gift he's completed for his daughter. Beautiful details add elegance to this simple music stand. Now all there is to do is hide it and try to keep it secret until December!

>Hey Alan, what are the door handles made of? There is a slight glare and my pewter monitor isn't great so they look like they may be steel or ebonized wood. Great looking project!

Jim, what can I say? You are turning out some wonderful work. That stand is a beauty, just like the recipiant. I love the penny! Kinda starting to be a Canadian thing after the Great One sank a loonie in the ice at Salt Lake. Very nice!

>Thanks Steve,

Your words are very kind, thank You, I have been doing the penny thing for awhile now, Salt Lake is still a bright memory!

Take care,
