How about....
Steve Kubien
>a Norton oil stone? I have one sitting around in the shop that I do not use. Your project is as worthy a cause as I can think of. I'm just not sure how easy they are to drill through.
It's yours if you want it.

Cool!

>Ernie - great idea. I have a number of junk planes from that batch of 100+ I bought a while back (gloated then, so I guess this is a double gloat). I could probably get $10 each on ebay for those run down 78s and 190 series (no parts), but I would much rather hack them up and have a cool cabinent like yours. Thanks, very clever.

Steve, what are you thinking?
Todd O. Cronkhite Native of Maine
>Why would want to take a perfectly good? old? oil stone and use it for a drawer pull when you could go get a new POS coarse stone for little to nothing to use? Good oilstones are hard to come by, so I can't see wasting 'em. coarse, it's your stone, do as you wish. Aack, I can't even think of it.

>I didn't see a Straight Handled Dove Tailing handle there... You've got just about everything else but a Faucet handle!
Broken Water Stone?
Don Thompson - Cutler Ridge, Florida
>Every so often, somebody posts about dropping and breaking a waterstone, or freezing and busting one. Anybody out there have one for Ernie?
BTW, Ernie, the drawers look cool!
