>Can someone offer a brief description of how to make a fox wedge (blind wedge) tenon joint? I certainly appreciate your help.

>Fox Wedge - is a method of securing a blind tenon into a mortice by placing wedges in saw kerfs made in the tenons. When driven home the wedges secure the tenon by spreading it out into the mortice.

The trick is to get the wedge just the right width and height. If too tall, it will keep the tenon from seating properly. If too wide, it will split the piece with the tenon.
