Large Scale Rust Prevention

>Has anybody here used the "Bullfrog Rust Blocker Sheild/Strips" products and if so what is your opinion of them. The reason I'm asking is that I'm looking for a product to place in my tool cabinet's and tool drawers that will help keep rust at bay on those all to frequent occasions when I get in a hurry and forget to clean and oil my tools after use. Also how do the above products compare with the rust preventative paper sold by Lie-Nielsen?

Thanks,

A.B.

>I noticed my tools in the garage were developing rust on them.

I bought a bunch off the Bull Frog pads for use in the tool drawers.

Seems to have stopped the rusting now for a few years.

>Thanks for the info Jeff. This leads to another question how often do you have to replace the pads?

>I replace them when they dry out and start to curl (I don't glue them down).

Usually every other year.

>Can't say exactly.

They are for a closed drawer or cabinet and emit some chemical that prevents rust.
