LN, bronze or iron

>I wonder if LN sells more bronze or iron planes in the same size, like a #4. I really like the bronze planes, not worrying about rust. But does anyone know why they dont make the larger planes in bronze?

I would think a #4 1/2 in bronze would be a big seller. They used to make the #9s in bronze and they seem to get higher prices on ebay than new iron ones.

>I believe the bronze 9's sell for more because their longer produced and "vintage tools" so to speak. The 4.5 is a heavy plane already. A bronze one might me a monster to get moving, especially with a 50 deg. frog. The 4.5 comments are MHO, I really don't know why.
