Walnut score!

Rob in Kansas

>Last night my sister called and told me they were in the process of cutting down a walnut tree from their church's property. The guy was just going to take it to the dump so she talked him into leaving it long and bringing it 60 miles to me. It is't a huge tree...2 10 foot sections with the smallest end being 12" and the largest 16". It's all end coated and ready to mill. Roger, Ernie, have a pit saw stashed away somewhere? :)

I plan on cutting a couple turning blanks, and the most important...16/4 stock for cabriole legs and carving ball & claw feet!

Pit saw?

>It'll fit under that big old Crescent band saw. Now you'll have to harness up Stretch & Lilli.

Ernie, I'll be glad to help, don't know what Sat. will bring at this point, but let me know what kind of time you need.

>Early I am pouring concreet. Hope that don't scare you off. I'll let you dig through the tool box.
