>I have ann old wooden spokeshave with a drive in blade and the blade id dieing. Does anyone know of a source for a replacement blade? I don't know if a Hock or Lee blade would work. Thanks John!

>It is pretty easy to make a spokeshave if you have a good blade. You might consider getting one of the new blades and making a shave for it. The old shave would make a good pattern.

>I have made new blades for shaves as well as complete shaves but to my way of thinking it is an exercise in slow headness as good vintage wood shaves are so cheap , common and easy to find....i'd just look for another shave and maybe make a scraper out of your old wood shave.easy and quick thing to do.....Todd
