>The 45 slitter thread was pretty good, as I could never make that thing work. All the slitters I have are V shaped, however, I see pictures of slitters that are flat. See the slitter in Stan Faullin's page on the Type 12-17. There's been a couple on ebay like that in the last week as well.

Are the flat slitters factory or user mods? Was the flat slitter used for something different than than the v shaped ones?
