French Polish????

Brad in Ottawa

>Went to visit my local tool pusher the other day. (By the way, if you are reading this I thought you would get a kick out that!!!)

After becoming lost in the storage room I mentioned I was interested in another Jack Plane.

He asks "What do you have in mind?"

I respond "Nothing that particular, just a worker."

He says "I've got just the thing for you!"

Stamped L. Sorby, Northern, Sheffield, England.

French Polished.

Light as heck, easy to use. Dramatic impact on my board prep time and effort.

Not bad looking either.

The next time one of you post about a long wooden jointer... I might have to go find one!!!

Brad

PS - I didn't mention the negligible price that I paid.

>Does this guy sell on line in Canada? The only stuff I ever see is fit for firewood or has been horribly shellaced over.
