>I'm in need of a thumb screw for the cap iron of a #12- like scraper. The scraper doesn't have any markings, but appears to be similar to a #12. I tried a couple screws in the cap, but the threads appear to be an odd size. I'm also in need of a blade for a Stanley 191 rabbet plane. Thanks.

>I've retapped for standard threads several times - usually works pretty well. If the cap is cast iron, you don't even need lubricant - the tap will work fine dry.
