>I just purchased at a garage sale a nice Penncraft plane #9533. Does any one know anything about this plane. It is in nice shape and I'm not trying to sell it, Forgive my ignorance. I just don't know much about Penncraft tools. Thanks for the help and information.

>Funny you should post this. I just saw a set of Penncraft wrenches on ebay and the seller said they were made for JC Penneys when they used to sell tools. The wrenches looked pretty decent, but couldn't tell who made them. The seller said they had a lifetime warrenty which JCP would still honor on a comprable replacement. Since LN are the only Bailey type planes I know of still made in USA, maybe you could trade up if the Penncraft should ever "fail". Hehe.
