Merrill & Wilder chisels

>Does anyone know anything about Merrill & Wilder chisels. I picked up a 5/8" firmer chisel at an estate sale and really don't know whether it's a quality piece or not. It looks good, and from the little I can find on the web, it looks to be 100 or so years old.
