>I would guess they're still used by folks who hammer circular saw blades to check for flatness as Steve indicated. I'm surprised they're not going a little higher actually.

>Here I am searching ebay Canada and a few days ago ebay Germany. And stupid old me thought when I did a search I was searching every thing up for sale So now I have to ask how many e-bays are there and is there any way to do a search of all of them at once? Thinking I can get some better deals sneaking in on you forginers. Although common items seem kinda high.

>On the eBay.com (or any country's) homepage click on the search tab on the top of the page. The search that comes up by default is a basic search, other options include: advanced, seller, and bidder.

Click on the Advanced, tab and in the description of the item type a general description, i.e. Stanley chisel.

More importantly, there is a drop down menu for items available to... make sure this option is set to any country.

I think you will find the vast majority of old tools are already available to eBay.com. Everyone likes greenbacks!!!!

>There is only one eBay. If you look at the listings for eBay.com, you'll get everything. In fact, eBay.ca only lists items that are explicitly stated that they will be sold to Canada (they don't have to originate in Canada). To me, the big problem with this is that the listings on eBay.ca exclude those items that are listed to ship "worldwide."
