Sliding Tail Vise

>I am looking for a sliding tail vise along the lines of the now discontinued Veritas vise.

I have had no luck with Lee Valley. I even tried to buy the screw and mechanism from their "tucker vise which is still in production. Still no go.

Are there any other solutions? Anyone know why LV discontinued the original (presume poor sales)?

Thanks

George

I guess you will have to contact the company for more details. (It was fully described only a week or so ago)

>Hi George -

The demand for the vise wasn't enough to produce it economically... it is on the re-development list right now though, but will not be back in production for awhile yet.

Cheers -
