1) Do they come with English instructions yet?
2) Why should they not be stored in water?
To guess an answer on #2 I would hazard to say that it would be that the binding compound does not like long term exposure to water.

They should not be stored in water because the binder isn't designed for it and they don't need to be soaked when you use them. Just spray with some water.

>FWIW, I do soak mine for a minute or two before each use. I sense that I'm wearing the stone a little less that way, but can't prove it.
