Been Busy *LINK*

>Good Morning All,
Have not checked in for a while, but have been a little busy. Don't know if you remember, but last winter I mentioned that we were trying to gather 15 crafty folks who would like to fix up the building below and form a corporation to sell their items.
Seems like a dream from a hundred years ago, but the doors were opened last Saturday and we are on our way.
Our medium is "Wood, Iron, Stone and Glass" and that sets us apart from most of the gallery operations on the coast. We have 12 doing wood, one iron, one stone and one glass. Bob Hackett is our turner.
It was a long winter keeping warm with space heaters and heated discussions about how things should be done. Bottom line is that it got done and strikes a blow for all us little folks who toil to bring their product to markets.
The 15 members take turns working two days a month and supply inventory. We also take additional items made in Maine on consignment the fit our medium.
If you are ever considering something like this for you area, drop me a line and I would be glad to share our experience. Our webpage is moving in the right direction, but will be ever changing. For now it will give a small flavor of the gallery contents and a good look at the change in the building from what we started with pictured below.
In you are in the area drop by and say Hi.
Thanks for looking
