I need to take a class -- any suggestions?

If you don't already know about it you are in luck. The Marc Adams School is just south of Indy and has classes running thru October. I just took a hand plane class with David Charlesworth and Tom Lie Nielsen and loved it. Marc has an awesome facility and is a super guy. They fill up fast, but may still have some openings if you are interested.

>For the equivalent of free classes over a day-and-a-half period, consider attending the 5-Barns picnic in August at Bill Grumbine's in Kutztown, PA. From you that would be PA Turnpike to Harrisburg, then I-78 to K-town, perhaps 7 hour drive.
Much of the demo time covers turning projects, but if you have just about any question, someone probably can address it and perhaps demonstrate a technique or two.
